STEP ONE: ========= a) Click on the Start Menu b) Click on "Settings" c) Double click on "Network and Dial-up Connections" STEP TWO: ========== a) Double click on "Make New Connection" b) In the window that loads press the Next button c) Choose "Connect to a private network through the internet" d) In the next window you have two options: i) If you get your internet through a network or an ADSL Router then choose "Do not dial the initial connection" ii) If you connect to the internet by a dial up modem, or adsl modem then click "Automatically dial this initial connection" and select your ISP from the list e) Press Next f) Enter in the IP address or hostname of the VPN you want to connect to g) Choose whether only you or all users that logon to the computer have access h) Choose a name for the connection and tick the bottom box if you want a desktop shortcut |
